I love tea/milk tea.. it makes me SMILE ☺ Milk Tea is a beverage originating from Hong Kong. It's the current craze in MNL right now.. the sudden rise in the popularity of milk tea in the country is really surprising!!! Gosh, there are a lot of milk tea stores popping up around the metro.. there's Happy Lemon, Serenitea, Bubble Tea, ChaTime, Er Sao, Moonleaf, ZenTea, Gong Cha etc,. I haven't been to the other stores yet but the two that I've frequented are Happy Lemon and Serenitea - Always on long queue but its worth the wait☺

Happy Lemon - try their Cocoa Rock Salt and Cheese.. but wait... there is a proper way of drinking it.. #Don't stir and don't use a straw. Period. #Drink it directly from the cup and.. ENJOY!!! Happy You!!!

Serenitea - try their Hokkaido and Okinawa Milk Tea (75%sugar for me).

Finally, my favorite ShareTea in HK is now in Wilson.

Try their Brewed Winter Melon Tea - it's my favorite

Making a milk tea is very simple.. it is just a mix of hot/cold water, black tea w/ evaporated milk or condensed milk. What I like about these milk tea stores is that they had so many other kinds of tea mixtures as well as juice and tea combinations to choose from. Happy Drinking!☺
